Seawright Scores Another UCRA Fort Payne 40 Victory

For the second time this year hometown racer "The Dynamite Kid" 17yo. Sam Seawright, got the United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA checkers at Fort Payne Motor Speedway Saturday night. Seawright (# 16) won the season opener BAMA BRAWL back in February pre-COVID19 pandemic and doubled down with another $2,500 victory. Seawright won the event last year also. Rookie of the Year candidate Jason Cardwell of Knoxville continues to impress finishing second yet again this season. Chip Brindle of Dalton/Chatsworth finished third with current UCRA points leader Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland fourth and local racer Bobby Pruitt fifth officially.

UPDATE 09/15/20

The United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA officials reviewed results and adjusted the official finishing results and announced disqualifications of two racers. Daniel Casteel finished ahead of Kenny Kizzar officially in 7th overall. Fourth place finisher Kenny Hall failed to go to the scales after the checkered flag waved and was disqualified and in an unrelated incident UCRA series regular Kasey Hall was disqualified after getting out of his racecar on the race track under caution. Both racers received no money or points for the Round #8 event. In addition Kasey Hall will be fined $100 penalty by the UCRA for his on track indiscretion at Fort Payne Motor Speedway.
