February 29, 2020 - Local Racer Harwood Picks Up 2019 UCRA 602/Sportsman Miniseries Championship Hardware
1Local area racer David Harwood (#25) of Rainsville picked up the hardware which included cash and prizes of over $1,000, last weekend during the BAMA BRAWL, earning the UCRA 602/Sportsman 6-race mini series championship at Fort Payne Motor Speedway for 2019. Hardwood raced all six events at his home track piloting his "Santa Fe of Fort Payne, Guffey Wrecker Service" sponsored racecar to a couple runner up finishes, without finishing outside of the Top 5 in any UCRA 602/Sportsman race the entire season. Harwood collected his championship trophy, check and Hoosier Tire custom jacket enroute to a Top 10 finish in Sunday's BAMA BRAWL Round #1 of the 2020 UCRA 602/Sportsman season. February 28, 2020 - Tazewell Speedway Hosts Round #2 of Red Line Synthetic Oil UCRA $20,000 Championship Season
1A month from now the Tazewell Speedway in upper Eastern Tennessee north of Knoxville welcomes back the United Championship Racing Alliance 604/Crate series presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil for the 2020 season opener Saturday night March 28th. The ultra high speed, high banked clay oval will host round #2 of the $20,000 championship season with a plethora of top racers vying for the $2,000 top prize of the Charles Trammell Memorial. It'll be the first of three visits to Gary Hall's 1/3 mile facility, that sees a Sunday return Memorial Day weekend and an August BADD FAST TAZ Saturday night. Alabama's Sam Seawright leads 2018 UCRA National Champion Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland TN in the points after the BAMA BRAWL conclusion a week ago. Knoxville's Jason Cardwell leads the $1,000 Rookie of the Year challenge just ahead of "Kidd-Quik" Kyle Courtney and Kasey "The Hurricane" Hall of Alabama. February 23, 2020 - Seawright Dominates the UCRA Red Line Synthetic Oil Bama Brawl
1Local 17yo. racer Sam Seawright showed his dominance of his home track over the weekend sweeping all facets of the 2nd annual Eddie Davis Memorial BAMA BRAWL at Fort Payne Motor Speedway. Beginning with Gresham Racing Parts Fast Time, Seawright pocketed the $100 award Saturday afternoon setting president over the 15 car field clocking a 14:478 lap. Sunday's feature was much of the same for the "JSR, AGCOR Steel, Farm Systems, Finishline Graphics" sponsored racer leading the entire 40 lap feature for the $2,500 payday. 2018 UCRA champion Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland TN seemed powerful enough to pull to Seawright's spoiler but couldn't make the pass during the feature. Leading $1,000 UCRA Rookie of the Year contender Jason Cardwell of Knoxville was third behind Elliott with Kyle Courtney and Kasey Hall rounding out the Top 5 respectfully.

February 15, 2020 - UCRA Announces 2020 Fort Payne Motor Speedway Dates
1Officials with the Fort Payne Motor Speedway and United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil finalized their 2020 dates for the 604/Crate Championship races at the 3/8 mile clay banked dirt track oval. A week ahead of the BAMA BRAWL special winter event scheduled for next Thursday thru Sunday, the UCRA will see returns in May and August like previous seasons. The annual "Mayhem 40" will take place Saturday night, May 2nd, whilst the annual "Fort Payne 40" will be hosted August 22nd, two weeks prior to the tracks season finale Labor Day weekend. Both races tout the nearly $10,000, 40 lap purse structure paying $2,500 to-win the Main Features, just as next weekends BAMA BRAWL special event.

February 6, 2020 - UCRA Red Line Synthetic Oil Series Heads To Talladega (AL) Short Track, Saturday June 13th
1 The United Championship Racing Alliance presented by Red Line Synthetic Oil will make its series debut at Lynn Phillips famed Talladega Short Track, Saturday June 13th, hosting a 40 lap 604/Crate Championship event. The race will see $2,000 go to the winner of the "Summer Slammer" feature. Many championship caliper teams have battled the clay of Talladega including former UCRA champion Jimmy Elliott of Cleveland TN, who's a two time ICE BOWL 604/Crate winner. More dates for the 2020 season are expected to be released in the coming days as the UCRA season opener at Fort Payne (AL) Motor Speedway draws near February 22nd and 23rd.
