Sise Sizes Up UCRA Competition Winning Career 1st Series Race at I-75 Raceway

Sweetwater TN (11/24/19) --- Sizing up the United Championship Racing Alliance - UCRA competition Knoxville's Zach Sise overpowered pole sitter/fast qualifier Jason Welshan on lap 3 of the 40 lap feature Sunday afternoon at I-75 Raceway. The event, was the season finale for the 604/Championship touring series that saw Jesse Lowe of Crossville race to a 4th place finish to wrap up the $5,000 payday for the points title.

Sise picked up the races $2,500 payday winning the matinee event in his #9 "MK Equipment, Jack Frost Heating and Air, Mark Haynes Enterprises, Smith Diesel Performance and Repair, Shorty’s Shock Service, King Machine and Welding, Knox Fire Extinguisher, Cars Etc, The Bed Store, Randall Harris Speedshop, Hoosier by Pup" sponsored Phantom Race Engines powered Stinger racecar. "This is our first big win and I'm thankful to get it" stated Sise from Jacky Jones Auto Victory Lane.

The 19yo. looks to possibly chase a UCRA National Points Championship in 2020 and the $1,000 Rookie bonus after hearing of the new series sponsorship from Red Line Synthetic Oil per the UCRAracing.com website. Along with Lowe 2019 awarded championship, Seth Wimpey of Blue Ridge, Georgia takes the $1,000 ,Rookie of the Year crown. Season opener winner at I-75, Cory Hedgecock raced back to a second place behind Sise after dropping to fifth early from his outside front row starting spot. Kyle Courtney a regular at I-75 finished 3rd infront of Lowe and Welshan. The 2020 UCRA season opener was also announced for the 2nd annual BAMA BRAWL for Feb 22nd & 23rd at Fort Payne (AL) Motor Speedway paying $2,500 to win.
